In its second year, BVI Restaurant Week has built on the success of the first year’s event and has drummed up anticipation for BVI Restaurant Week 2013. This year’s event promises to be even bigger than the last with great giveaways, fantastic dishes and lively entertainment. This year’s BVI Restaurant Week which is slated for November 22nd to December 1st, 2013 comprises of a Celebrity Dinner; two Taste of the BVI events, one on Tortola and one on Virgin Gorda and a week of dinning at the various restaurants Territory wide at the discounted prices of $20-$45 for dinner, $10-$15 for lunch and $6-$9 for breakfast. This event affords everyone the opportunity to sample the wide array of foods offered from restaurant to restaurant and makes dinning affordable for patrons no matter whether you choose to dine at one of our boutique type restaurants or at one of our five star resorts.
BVI Restaurant Week is geared toward anyone who loves foods and craves the authentic taste of flavor filled Caribbean cuisine.

BVI Tourist Board alongside key partners will hold a VIP reception on November 24th, 2013, which is geared to our elite clientele. This reception will be held at Giorgio's Table on Virgin Gorda and will be opened to 50-75 persons at a cost of $250 per couple and $150 per person. The epicurean selections will be prepared by celebrity Chef Fed alongside the 2013 Junior Chef, Ariq Flax-Clarke (winner of the Junior Chef challenge at the Janice Blyden Table Setting Competition on Virgin Gorda). Proceeds from the VIP reception will go toward prizes for next year’s Janice Blyden Table Setting Competition and Junior Chef Challenge.
|This year BVI Restaurant Week will have two launch events, one at the Noel Lloyd Park on Tortola on Nov. 22nd, 2013 and the other at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour Marina on Nov. 23rd, 2013. BVI Restaurant Week provides an opportunity for attendees to sample the various foods that will be offered and provides an additional opportunity for the restaurants to lock in reservations for persons to dine at their restaurant. At the taste of the BVI events participating restaurants will be at the aforementioned venue offering free samples of foods that they will be serving during BVI Restaurant week. The event will also include live music and a BVI style cook-off featuring some of our local chefs versus celebrity Chef Fed. Attending the event will be government officials, media, locals and tourists.||BVI Restaurant Week will be held from Nov. 22nd to Dec. 1st, 2013 where persons will be able to dine at participating restaurants at the low price of $20 to $45 for a 3-6 course meal for dinner; $10 to $15 for lunch and $6 to $9 for breakfast. Each restaurant will offer a fixed special menu for each meal choice they offer, which will include a complimentary drink. During this week persons will enjoy the luxury of dinning out without having to worry about the large cost to do so. Special menus will be offered at over 41 restaurants throughout Tortola, Anegada, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke.|

AMENDED FERRY SERVICE TO ANEGADA FOR ANEGADA LOBSTER FESTIVAL
To better serve their passengers, Smiths Ferry and Road Town Fast Ferry has amended their times of travel to Anegada for the Anegada Lobster Festival.
The amended times are as follows:
