Escape to the crown jewel of the Caribbean.

Newlyweds love seclusion and the British Virgin Islands has some of the best spots for two in the world. Whether you’re slipping the anchor down in your own private cove off Cooper Island, weightlessly drifting along with a school of angelfish in the reefs surrounding Anegada or sharing the breathtaking vistas from the peak of Sage Mountain, our islands and our people cater to your every desire.

Honeymoon in one of the world's most romantic spots
The British Virgin Islands' friendly spirit and outstanding accommodations are among the reasons our resorts and private islands are renowned throughout the world as the Caribbean's most romantic honeymoon destinations. Captivating small hotels and inns and charming cottages and villas – most within a pebble's throw of the warm azure sea – are available throughout the year. Newlyweds in search of a personal hideaway can find it at one of more than 60 hotels, inns and villas that make up the Jewels of the BVI Collection. For further information, call 1-866-GO-TO-BVI and speak with a British Virgin Islands Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist.

Enjoy your honeymoon on the water and ashore
Known as the water sports capital of the Caribbean, the BVI offers honeymooners spectacular snorkeling and scuba diving, water-skiing and windsurfing. You'll find expert instruction for every skill level and state-of-the-art facilities with the latest equipment. Snorkel along miles of coral reefs teeming with colorful fish. Among the more inviting and unusual spots is the bubbling pool at Jost Van Dyke's East End, where the foaming sea creates a natural Jacuzzi. Or explore Joe's Cave, the Tow Rock and the Painted Walls near the Dog Islands. If you both are experienced scuba divers and have a taste for adventure, explore the wreck of the RMS Rhone, which sank in 1867 off Salt Island. Today it is one of the most extraordinary dive sites in the Caribbean.

Honeymooners with a taste for adventure may wish to charter a crewed yacht. Aboard ship, you can sail to the private islands, explore remote reefs and take in spectacular sites such as The Baths in Virgin Gorda, where huge volcanic boulders form mystical rock pools, hidden beaches and trails. Your captain and crew will transport you to the BVI's very special spots that will make your honeymoon truly unique. Picnic on deserted beaches with delicious gourmet meals prepared just for the two of you. Back onboard, dine on some of the world's finest cuisine, and later if you choose, sleep under the stars.
