Tortola, British Virgin Islands, February 19, 2016 – In early February 2016, eight (8) benches were
installed on Jost Van Dyke by the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board. The beautifully crafted wooden
benches were made on the island by Jost Van Dyke’s own Dave Chinnery. Three (3) of the benches have
been installed in Little Harbour area and the other five (5) in Great Harbour.

Director of Tourism of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board Sharon Flax-Mars commented, “This
initiative is part of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board’s to continuously improve the tourism product of
our smaller Sister Islands, thus improving the level of comfort for our visitors. As you know last year we
were able to restore and open the Faulkner House Museum and a couple other attractions on Anegada and in
2016 we will continue to focus on other product enhancement projects on these islands.”
